Angela Watson

Angela Christine Watson is a model and actress from the U.S. She was best known by her character Karen Foster, the daughter of Carol Foster Lambert's character Suzanne Somers in the American sitcom Step by Step. Angela Watson has a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She is also a National Board Certified teacher. Her 11-year classroom experience is as well as over 10 years of experience as an instructional coach. Angela created this site when she was a student teacher in 2003. She wanted to share useful classroom tips and encourage teachers to have a more positive outlook in order for them to be more satisfied with their work. The website was initially titled Ms. Powell's Management Ideas for Teachers until 2008 when it was renamed The Cornerstone for Teachers after her publication. Angela's PD on productivity for professional educators has been implemented in more than 45,000 schools through the 40 Hour Workweek program. Initially designed for educators, 40 Hour was then expanded in order to encompass instructional coaches as part of the administrative personnel. The program helps teachers become more deliberate with their contractual hours and teaching so that they are able to focus on what matters.
